How To Open A Gmail Account


Below are easy-to-follow instructions on how to open a Google Gmail account. If you want printable instructions, please download the text file below. Please note that it does not include any screenshots, just text.


Printable Instructions


  1. Click here to open a new Gmail account

  2. Click on "Create an Account", bottom right hand side of the page. Please note that it may say "Sign up for Gmail".
    3. Create an account
  3. Complete the Create an Account Form. Don't forget to write down your new Gmail address and password and put them in a secure place.

  4. Read the Terms of Service and click on "I accept. Create my Account"
    5. I accept, create my account.
  5. You will now see a "Congratulations!" note. You may sign in to your Gmail account to make sure it's working correctly.

  6. You will recieve an email from Gmail on your new account. Please save it as it has an important Verificaton code should you ever encounter problems or forget your password.

  7. Viola! You now have a new Gmail account

You will be required to give me your Gmail address and password. I will need this to install and test your new blog design. You can always change your password after I have finished your project.
