The following is an overview on how the design process typically goes. Please keep in mind that not every project is the same and the process may change slightly for your specific project.
After I receive and review your Project Request, I will email you and answer any questions or concerns you may have. After we have everything settled, and you want to move forward with your project, I will send you a Paypal deposit invoice OR full invoice depending on the package you have chosen.
Upon payment of your deposit, you will be placed on the PENDING CLIENTS LIST and sent a Design Questionnaire. You will remain on this list until you send me the completed design questionnaire. You can find the Pending Clients List at the bottom of the Wait List page.
Please complete the questionnaire in it's entirety, do not leave any blanks. If you have questions or need clarification, please email me right away, even if you email me 10 times, I'd rather you get help first, then send me a completed questionnaire.
Once your completed questionnaire is sent back to me, I will move you from pending to the CURRENT PROJECTS WAITING LIST and you will be given an estimated project start date. You can find the Current Projects List at the top of the Wait List page.
About 2 weeks prior to your start date, I will write-up your project. As I go over the questionnaire and I find any unanswered questions, I will have to return it to you to be completed. This MAY cause your project to be placed on hold until I can get the completed information from you and you may loose your start date if I do not get the information back in time. This is at my at my discretion.
Additionally, as I go over your questionnaire and I have any additional questions for you, I will email you and get clarification.
I will work with you step by step only to proceed to the next if you are 100% happy and satisfied. For this reason, I ask if you to keep yourself available as much as possible to answer my emails so that the project can be done in a timely manner. If I do not hear from you in 3-4 days, I MAY have to place your project on hold until I hear from you. This is at my discretion.
Based on your answers from the questionnaire, I will begin working on the site header to be submitted to you for approval. If any changes are needed, I will adjust and revise as needed until you are 100% happy and have given approval.
NOTE: The Posh Box reserves the right to continue or halt or cancel any project, completed or not, due to excessive revisions and changes. You will be notified if you are nearing the point of excessive revisions. You are urged to stay within reason. If a project is cancelled, either by you or me, the deposit fee in non-refundable.
Once I receive your final approval of the whole design, I will send you a Paypal invoice for the final payment which is due upon receipt. Please pay your invoice as soon as possible as I will not install your new design until I receive full payment. If you can not pay your invoice within 24-48 hours, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can reschedule your project for the next available date.
Once I receive your final payment, I can then start installing on your site, which could take several days to several weeks depending on the complexity and size of your project.
Once I am completed with your project, I will email your site files and documentation in a zip file. You should backup your files immediately. This is your responsibility. I can not guarantee how long I will keep client files.
You will have a period of 4 weeks after the installation to test all links, pages, check for any spelling or grammatical errors, minor fixes, broken links, broken pages, etc., and report them to me as soon as possible to ensure the issues can be taken care of in a timely manner. Any issues or fixes needed after the 4 weeks will be quoted and invoiced at a per service rate.
Changes or additions to the original approved design, colors, images, site coding, etc., are NOT part of the normal 4 weeks of customer service. Any changes or additions to the original approved design, colors, images, site coding, etc., before or after your design is installed will be quoted, invoiced and need to be paid before any re-work will be performed. I also reserve the right to refuse this type of change.
