The following is an overview on how the design process typically goes. Please keep in mind that not every project is the same and the process may change slightly for your specific project.



Request for Quote


You, the potential client fills out a Request for Quote. After I receive the request and determine which service is needed, I will email you with a Design Questionnaire specifically for the required service.


Project Approval and Deposit


Once I receive the completed Design Questionniare and have gone over the details, I will email you a price quote for the project and send you a Paypal invoice for either the full package amount or for the deposit on the Package you ordered. Please pay your invoice as soon as possible. Once I recieve your payment, it shows that you approve the quote and the project can move forward. I will then place you on my Project Waiting List.


Important 3-Day Grace Period: You are given a 3-day grace period to change your mind and cancel the project. No work will begin until after the 3 days have passed. If you cancel the project within the 3-days, your deposit or full payment will be refunded. IF you wish to waive the 3-day grace period, please do so by sending me a detailed email that you want to waive the 3-day grace period.


Due to the nature of this business, I will not honor any refunds of full payments or deposits after I begin working on your project.


Planning and Development


I will work with you step by step only to proceed to the next if you are 100% happy and satisfied. For this reason, I ask if you to keep yourself available as much as possible to answer my emails so that the project can be done in a timely manner.


Based on your answers from the Questionnaire, I will begin working on a "Test/Mockup" site or blog to show you the initial design, header graphic, footer graphic, background graphic, colors, navigation, etc to be submitted for your approval.


Once the design aesthetics are done, I will then be able to work on each page, adding text, links, etc. You will be asked to supply site text for each page needed in final text, not draft form, please proofread your text before sending it to me. Once a page is completed, I will send you a link to view it. You will need to proof it very carefully and approve it. We will not move on until you are 100% happy with each page.


Revisions


Once the design and pages are done, you will have another chance to look at the Test site in whole to make any needed revisions in minor visual tweaks, text, spelling errors, etc. before I upload it to your site.


Please be aware that any major and excessive revisions, changes or additions that change from the original approved design will require additional design fees. You will be notified of the extra charges.


Final Approval and Payment


Once I receive your final approval of the design, I will send you via Paypal an invoice for the final payment, which will be due upon receipt. Please pay your invoice as soon as possible. I will not install your new design until I receive full payment.


Installation and Quality Testing


Once I receive your final payment, I will install and quality test your design. This testing includes and is not limited to the following: code validation, browser compatibility, forms, links, etc. Testing could take several days or more.


Customer Service


Once testing is complete the site is handed over to you, and I am done with the design and installation.


I will forward to you your site files and materials. You should backup your files immediately. This is your responsibility. I can not guarantee how long I will keep client files.


You should also re-read Ownership of Artwork and Graphics found under Terms and Conditions.


You will have 4 weeks to test and get to know your site and to report any errors or minor fixes. Any issues or fixes needed after the 4 weeks will be billed as a seperate job and will need to be rescheduled.
