Yippeeee, now the fun starts! The following lists how the design process will typically go, but remember that not every project is the same and this may not be exactly how yours will go.


I will work with you step by step only to proceed to the next if you are 100% happy and satisfied. For this reason, I ask if you try to keep yourself available as much as possible to answer any emails so that the project can be done in a timely manner.



  • Approval and Deposit
    Once I receive the approved quote from you, I will send an invoice via Paypal for 25% of the full design quote. Please try to pay the deposit as soon as possible. Once I receive your deposit, I will wait 3 days before I start any work. This is the 3-day grace period given to you to cancel the project if you so wish.

  • Planning and Development
    Based on your answers from the Questionnaire, I will begin working on a "Mockup" to show you for the initial design, colors, navigation, etc to be submitted for your approval.

    Once you approve a design, I can then begin working on backgrounds, graphics, coding, etc. During this time, you will be asked to supply content and any of your own graphics and to foward any emails from your host that have login and password information. Please proofread your own text, do not submit a draft, only the final text. You will need to be available for any approvals or any additional information I may need during this time.

    Once the design aesthetics are done, I will then be able to work on each page, adding text, links, etc. Once a page is done, I will send you a link to view it. You will need to proof it very carefully and approve it. We will not move on until you are 100% happy with each page.

  • Revisions
    Once all of the pages are done, you will have another chance to look at your site in whole to make any needed revisions in text, spelling errors, etc., and answer any questions or concerns you may have at this time. If you want any changes or additions, anything that will change the approved design, additional design fees will apply.

  • Final Approval and Payment
    Once I get your final approval of the design, I will send you via Paypal an invoice for the final payment, which will be due upon receipt. I will not install your new site until I receive full payment.

  • Installation and Quality Testing
    Once I receive your final payment, I will install and quality test your site. This testing includes the following: code validation of each page, test each page with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Netscape, test any forms, test links, etc. Testing could take several days or more.

  • Customer Service
    Once I have finished testing, I will send you instructions on how to understand and maintain your site and answer any questions you might have.

    Also, I will forward to you your site files and materials. You should backup your files immediately. This is your responsibility. I can not guarantee how long I will keep client files.

    You should also re-read Ownership of Artwork and Graphics found under Terms and Conditions.

    You will have 4 weeks to test and get to know your site and to report any errors or minor fixes. Any issues or fixes needed after the 4 weeks will be billed as a seperate job and will need to be rescheduled.
